I have lived on the Somerset Levels since 1986 where the constant image of the pollarded willow and wetlands has been a major influence and inspiration. I am currently exploring other landscapes, the human form and images in poetry, both in a representational and an abstract way.
In my work I use a wide range of my own photographs, dyed fabrics and painted papers with a variety of machine and hand stitching. I also paint in oils, on canvas and board.
